    Rustic hotel.

    Excellent location - so close to the pub at the front of the property, the hotel's restaurant and the surrounding beautiful forests at the edge of North Yorks Moors. Well-appointed and brand-new rooms with repro brown furniture.

    The location was super nice and the food was just yummm! We stayed in a comfy double room with a private bath and everything was clean n cozy. The ox team was really friendly and seemed to work great together. Already recommended it to friends and can't wait to go back!

    The main course felt rushed and the soup was only warm. We also had issues with the shower not getting hot water properly.

    I had this amazing dinner with a group of friends, the lamb was fantastic. The pub itself has this superb charm, feels like a hidden gem in the countryside.

    It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what you get, it's acceptable.

    Dining options here are excellent, especially the quality of the breakfast. The cute pack with local walk information was a nice touch. Parking right outside the room made it convenient for us.

    The noise during the night from nearby rooms was a bit disruptive.
